{"id":213,"date":"2011-11-11T12:53:00","date_gmt":"2011-11-11T12:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.faithirabor.com\/?p=213"},"modified":"2011-11-11T12:53:00","modified_gmt":"2011-11-11T12:53:00","slug":"i-will-not-condone-indiscipline-keshi-warns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.faithirabor.com\/?p=213","title":{"rendered":"I will not condone indiscipline, Keshi warns"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-kkk-c3aYsS4\/Tr0aratIYyI\/AAAAAAAAACk\/DyZH3csFsV4\/s1600\/Stephen-Keshi.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-kkk-c3aYsS4\/Tr0aratIYyI\/AAAAAAAAACk\/DyZH3csFsV4\/s1600\/Stephen-Keshi.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The newly appointed coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has warned that he will not condone indiscipline from any player in the national team.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keshi gave the warning on Thursday in Abuja when he was formally unveiled to the public.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t care whether you play professional league or not, I will not hesitate to send off any player who fails to perform to expectation.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I promise to give 200 per cent to the success of the team.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said most of the players would come from the local clubs to build a vibrant team for the nation.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He expressed satisfaction with the terms of the contract offered by the Nigerian Football Association (NFA), saying that he had gone through it.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">He called on Nigerians and stakeholders to support football administration in the country.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">When asked how he would work with the four assistant coaches, Keshi said there would be no problem working with them provided &#8220;we are targeting the same goal&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, the President of the NFA, Aminu Maigari, advised the coach to work hard, to return the Super Eagles to where it ought to be.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;We know Keshi has the will to motivate the team to excel, but the players must have a spirit to succeed.&#8221;<\/div>\n<p>Maigari promised not to interfere with the activities of the coach, adding, &#8220;he is  free to determine his programmes<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>The newly appointed coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has warned that he will not condone indiscipline from any player in the national team.
