Contrary to rumours making the rounds concerning the death of Taraba State Governor Dambaba Suntai, the secretary to the Governor has said that the no 1citizen of the state was one of the survivors of an air crash
\nat the Yola Airport in Adamawa State. Earlier reports named the
\ngovernor as one of the dead passengers in the small plane that was being
\n piloted by Mr. Suntai at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n

The secretary to the government of Taraba State confirmed that the
\ngovernor survived the crash, but was in critical condition. The
\nSecretary stated that the injured governor had been conveyed to a
\nhospital in Yola.
\nTwo of Mr. Suntai\u2019s aides died when the plane crashed. An eyewitness said there were five passengers in
\n the small plane at the time of the accident. Mr. Suntai was piloting.<\/p>\n
