Ekiti Assembly Sex Scandal: Speaker Seeks Spiritual Help.

With impeachment axe dangling over his head, Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dr. Adewale Omirin was at the Celestial Church of Christ (Royal Parish), Ekute, Ado-Ekiti tuesday for what sources tagged ” spiritual help”. He was there alongside, Hon Folorunso Ogundele from Efon-Alaaye, who is a Senior Evangelist in the Church.
The duo came in the Speaker’s official black coloured Toyota Camry (with covered plate number) and another Toyota Camry and Nissan Pathfinder SUV, belonging to Hon. Ogundele.
Sources hinted that they came to the church at about 7:45pm and were there till 9:20pm.
The Speaker allegedly had three “Spiritual Bath” with three Prayer Points: 1: Confusion between the Assembly members planning his impeachment; 2: Restoration of love between the Speaker and Governor Fayemi, and 3: God should retain his position as Speaker.
Omirin’s colleagues are angling to impeach him over his alleged sexual escapades with the Chief Whip, Mrs Wunmi Ogunlola and the N55m christman gift Scandal.
Fayemi allegedly approved N55m for the House for the yuletide gifts but the Speaker allegedly cornered the fund, releasing a paltry sum of N50,000 to each of his colleagues in the House.
Workers in the House that ought to have been paid christmas bonus from the N55 million were also not paid a dime.
A source said only the Chief Whip, Mrs Ogunlola benefited immensely from the fund as she was the one who was in charge of supply of Hampers. Each of the hampers allegedly cost N40,000.
