The rumours of Ooni Of Ile-Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye picking a new wife following news that his marriage to Bukola has crashed, is according to an inside source deeper than what is being written on the pages of Magazines and blogs.
Those in the know are swearing to high heavens that the Ooni who is yet to refute news going round that he is set to wife his hush hush lover Itohan Sonia Odabo, is also considering a lady who he has been dating even before he became King.
According to what was disclosed to this News Room, Oba Adeyeye Enitan has a very serious relationship with a certain lady named Elizabeth who resides in Canada.
It was revealed that Lizi as she is fondly called, kicked off her affair with the king who she called Yeye in 2011 when he had issues with his wife Bukola and they were briefly separated, no thanks to her frequent fracas with her sisters in – laws who for this reason wanted her out of their brother’s life. The king and Lizi we further gathered, however continued their affair even after he reconciled with his wife.
Oba Enitan we learnt, would on numerous occasions sneak Lizi into the country while he also traveled to spend time with her before he became the king. The families and friends of Ooni and Lizi are also said to be aware of their affair even though no one was certain if they will end up marrying each other then.
The Canadian based lady we learnt, went all out when the Ooni became King as she allegedly flew into the country with so many of her friends and families for the coronation in December 2015. ” Could you believe that Lizi had her own corner at the Oba’s coronation where so many Canada and America top shots in same attire were seated”? Our source revealed.
The source also added that even though Ooni’s affair with Sonia is true, the king would only marry her on grounds of terms and conditions which must include him marrying Lizi who the whole family are already used to. The reason the Ooni is not clearly putting Lizi forward we learnt, is because he doesn’t want his now estranged wife Bukola to feel vindicated.
This we were told is because Bukola has been telling all those who care to listen that Lizi crashed her marriage to the King and he is planning of making her his Olori. “Sonai doesn’t know what’s up and she must be dreaming to think the King will automatically make her his wife without dramas and other women in the picture”, our source further revealed.
We shall be waiting to see who will at end of the day become the Queen of the great King of Ile-Ife.
